Trinity Community Thrift Store is proud to announce that we are OPEN again!:  We have been open since the End of March, 2022.  During the Pandemic, we have been closed, but had been awaiting the installation of a Ventilation System in the basement of the Church.  During the downtime, we had an opportunity to clean, organize, strategize and change our Mission, our Floor Plan, and our staff and volunteers have assisted us in preparing the space, and helping us decide what we want to display, and where we want to display it.

The idea here, is to give the store a “Make Over.”  During many discussions, and a couple of Zoom Meetings, we decided to make some of these changes – One of them was to give the Store a more “open” floor plan – Our Operations Desk took up the majority of the floor space. and we want to give the public, and our customers the ability to move more freely in the store, because our racks were causing trip hazards. and with limited mobility, we can not access needed areas in the store, because it is too confined.  We invite you to stop by and take a look

We are Open SATURDAYS ONLY from 10:00 AM to NOON – This will be until further notice, and until we are able to recruit some more volunteers, so we can provide you with weekday service.  It is unknown when we will be able to go back to Regular Hours – This will be decided at a later date, but as far as we know, we will return to Regular Hours sometime in the fall, depending on the current situation and circumstances we find that we have to deal with.  We will update this page again when we are given the permission to return to our Three Day a Week, 10-4 hours.

Outside Sales:  We have been fortunate that the weather has been cooperating with us as of late:  we have had a couple of Outdoor Sales, and we have been pleased with the results.  When we have an Outdoor Sale, Most Likely the Store’s Yellow Sandwich Board sign would be out, and would let people know we are open.  Please feel free to inquire about the store being open if you stop by – We may be open an additional day from time to time when an outside sale occurs.

Donations:  We will accept donations during store hours, or during the times when we are doing sales.  Please let a staff member know of your donation, and they will accept it – They will bring it down to us.  You can also stop down to see us in the store, and we will ask you what you have, and then make a determination on whether we will accept it.

Volunteers:  I would like to PERSONALLY THANK everyone who has been helping us as we make changes, clean the store and reorganize it, and who have been working with me as we work through these changes to the way we operate.  It is appreciated, and I could not do this without a wonderful group of people, who have been very supportive and responsive to my questions, concerns and requests.

Thank you for your support!
